on your device.
The editor reads and changes your document locally. It doesn't send the PDF, its text, or its name to our servers.
Try it without internet
The app saves its offline tools automatically. When the console shows Offline: ready, turn off your connection and try cleaning a PDF.
This shows that the demo can run without a connection. Checking that nothing is sent later also means testing what happens when the connection returns.

Saving or sharing the finished file is your choice. Your original file stays where you opened it.
When a connection is needed
Downloading the app or local tools, signing in, paying, and checking a licence use the internet. Personal PDFs need an active subscription or owner access. These requests contain no document data.
We use Mixpanel for registration, sign-in and payment events. Your account email, name when available, and account ID help us identify your account. We also record campaign labels and the referring website, without its full URL. We don't record your screen or send editor activity, PDF content, filenames or selected areas. Campaign labels stay in this tab until it closes or you sign out. The scanner downloads automatically on your first visit. The download is about 154 MB and comes from this app. Your PDF stays on your device.
Online account sessions
While a page is visible and online, it sends a random browser identifier to our server about once every 90 seconds. We store a protected version of that identifier and activity times to notice sustained, unusually high account use. We don't collect IP addresses for this check or include document data. Different browsers can create separate sessions, so this check can show a plan reminder but never blocks access. Records older than 24 hours are removed when the account next checks in. Signing out stops updates from that browser.
What we can claim today
We test PDF export, network behaviour and offline use with synthetic documents. These checks have limits, and physical iPhone and Android testing is still needed. Finding every private detail is not guaranteed. Always review the pages yourself.
We haven't commissioned an independent security audit or received a security certification. We won't display a certification badge without one.
